Friday Freakout

A fun freakout for fall...

Not sure what to celebrate this October? Wonder no more:

7. OCTOBER 14: NATIONAL BRING YOUR TEDDY BEAR TO WORK DAY

...

15. OCTOBER 29: NATIONAL CAT DAY

This could only happen in Russia:

This driver will not be facing criminal charges for having a brown bear in the back of his car - because the animal was apparently wearing a seatbelt.

The astonishing images were caught on camera in Yekaterinburg, Russia, earlier this month.

Stunned motorists couldn’t believe their eyes when they spotted the bear lounging in the rear of the Volga.

They even saw it playfully sticking its head out of the window.

Well, as long as he was wearing a seat belt.

Human-bear co-operation has come a long way.

To commemorate sixty-five years of bringing joy to children of all ages, the US Postal Service is issuing special "Charlie Brown Christmas" stamps:

On October 2, 1950, Charles M. Schulz’s comic strip Peanuts debuted in seven newspapers. October is also National Stamp Collecting Month. To celebrate the 65th anniversary of Peanuts, the U.S. Postal Service is releasing a new set of Peanuts stamps today, featuring ten scenes from the TV special “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” The TV show first aired 50 years ago, in December of 1965.
